BRANDING TIPS FROM SEUN ODEGBAMI

Charles Ituah had the pleasure of interviewing Seun Odegbami on his podcast It was really a great and enlightening conversation One of the key highlights from the interview was when he said "Focus more emphasis on what your brand really stands for". When starting any business it is important that you really define the direction of the company's brand and image and where you intend taking it to. So even when there are situations that seem challenging for the company, the brand loyalty from customers would still remain intact. You can listen to the full interview https://lnkd.in/d-YUyb9

LESSONS LEARNT IN 2019

As an entrepreneur growing my brand has not always been easy. Making decisions on what sort of approach to take has been really difficult. I had to keep fighting that little voice called imposter syndrome. Many of my past businesses failed to scale simply because I neglected having a proper goal to achieve. I fought that little voice in my head every time. Sometimes the voice gets so loud it crippled all my plans. When I started building the ituahwrites brand I knew I had to make a conscious effort not to allow that voice to distract me. So I labor and work smart knowing that the only way to succeed is by being real with myself and honest in my set goals and objectives. The lessons I have learnt so far in 2019 is to be courageous and live life without fear or worry. The only way 2020 can be different is to do things differently. Start by first of all accepting failure as a stepping stone to success. Live life on your own terms and don't allow other people to define who you should be. Here is to a successful 2020 filled with Success, Hope and great work hashtagituahwrites

THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A F*CK

The book is quite an interesting read as it covers all aspects of finding that part of you that really does not care about the opinion of others because listening to other people's opinions can be stressful and makes you quite unhappy.

The key message of the book are :

1. When we try to do too much in life it causes us stress and we live an unhappy life

2. We need to stop giving a fuck about the things that causes us pain

3. Choose what it is you want to care about

4. Develop a more constructive approach to work, love and life itself

5. Forget FOMO (fear of missing out) and really know that you will miss out on things no matter what
